11-30-11 - OPI Ogre the Top Blue What's With the Catitude and Alpine Snow

So tomorrow is the 1st of December, its holiday time. I'm trying to decide if I should do the 12 Days of Christmas Manis like I did last year, or just do holiday themed manis for the entire month. I can't decide, but in the meantime, I have a fun mani for today

OPI - Alpine Snow - This is a white creme. It has good application and great coverage for a white polish. Smooth and opaque in two coats

OPI - What's with the Catitude - This is a light blue creme - This also had really good coverage and application.

OPI - Ogre the Top Blue - This is a medium blue creme - This is a great shade of blue with good coverage and application.

11-28-11 - OPI Grape...Set...Match

Its hard getting back to work after having four days off, so I just had to do a new mani.

OPI - Grape...Set...Match - This is a grapey polish with blue and purple micro glitter. The application and coverage on this one were very nice.l

I then topped it with OPI Blue Shatter - I'm not sure if I didn't wait long enough for the polish to dry or if I applied it too thick but I didn't get as good as a crackle effect on this one as I get with the colors from the Shatter collection. The color one this one is a great electric blue.

11-27-11 - Nubar Avant-Garde

The long weekend is coming to an end and I've been busy doing nail stuff. :)

I went with Nubar for this one, because at the risk of repeating myself, yeah I know I am, I love Nubar polish its my favorite of all of my polishes. Anyway to get to down to it,

Nubar - Avant-Garde - This is a burgundy shimmer matte polish. This is has really great coverage and application, although for this particular mani I used a top coat.

Nubar - 2010 - This is flaky topcoat. I love how this looks over the Avant-Garde giving a very autumny look.

All topped with Seche Vite

11-25-11 - Zoya Cheryl

Hope everyone who celebrates had a good Thanksgiving. I have a bit of an autumny mani for today

Zoya - Cheryl - This a dark bronze shimmer with micro glitter. Very nice application and great coverage in two coats.

For the stamping I used

China Glaze - Iron Cross 360 - This is a burnt orange shimmer
OPI - Bling Dynasty - This is a dark gold shimmer
Nubar - Gold Feather - This is a goldish/bronzish shimmer

11-23-11 - Color Club Foil Me Once

So it Wednesday and that means Pink.

Color Club - Foil Me Once - This is a pink metallic. Very pretty with good application and coverage.

Stripes done with Kiss Nail Paint in silver glitter

11-20-11 - Orly Rock It

I have a simple, nothing fancy mani for today.

Orly - Rock It - This is a ruby red polish from the Mineral FX Collection. The application was very nice and smooth. Good coverage. I used three coats here. The color of this polish is a very pretty deep red. The sparkle and shimmer is awesome which the pics don't do justice.

11-17-11 - Nubar Vaso & Hyacinth Sparkles

Its getting late and I'm getting tried so I'll get right to it.

Nubar - Vaso - this is a lavender shimmer with unique textured finish. Its not quite shiny and not quite matte. Very pretty from their Venetian Glass collection

Nubar - Hyacinth Sparkles - This is a lavender glitter polish. Very good application and coverage. I added it to the tips here for a little subtle sparkle

I know I've said it before, but I love Nubar its my favorite brand. I just wish it was more easily available.

11-16-11 - OPI Mermaid's Tears and Skull & Glossbones

Since the last time I posted I did a couple of total fail manis, so I'm glad to have a fairly decent for today. I'm still working on perfecting my stamping, but its coming along.

So today I was feeling a bit piraty and went with a couple of colors from OPI's POTC collection.

Skull & Glossbones - This is a light taupe creme. Nice coverage and application. It is a two coat polish.

Mermaid's Tear - This is a seafoam creme. I really love this color, its one of my favorites.

11-13-11 - China Glaze Tinsel Town & Concrete Catwalk

I have another mani for today.

China Glaze - Concrete Catwalk - This is a dark gray creme - Really good application and pretty much one coat application.

China Glaze - Tinsel Town - This is from the new holiday collection Let It Snow. This is a multi sized silver glitter in a a black base. I love the look of this polish. Its packed with glitter. I did one coat for this mani.

11-13-11 - Essie Its Genius & OPI Gold Shatter

On rainy dreary day what better to do than a new mani.

Essie - Its Genius - This is a wine shimmer with gold micro glitter. This has good application and great coverage in three coats.

OPI - Gold Shatter - This is a really good crackle.

11/10/11 -Essie Bangle Jangle & Zoya Neeka

For Today's Mani I went a little purpley

Essie - Bangle Jangle - This a lavender creme from the new winter collection Cocktail Bling. This polish is awesome. Very smooth application and the coverage is great with opaqueness in one coat. I love this polish.

Zoya - Neeka - This is a grapey purple shimmer with light purple and gold micro glitter. I love the color of this polish. Great application and coverage

I used the Neeka with Bundle Monster plate BM14 for the design.

All topped off with a couple of coats of Seche Vite.

11/9/11 - Pink Wednesday

Its Wednesday and its time for pink.

Finger Paints - Give Pink A Chance - This is a very dark pink creme, which looks kind of red in some light. It has great coverage and application.

China Glaze - Snow Globe - This is from the new holiday collection, Let It Snow. Its a hologram glitter in a white base polish. Very sparkly and pretty. Good delivery of glitter from the brush to the nail.

11-7-11 - Today's Mani

After several days of one headache after another, I finally feel up to doing a mani and it turns out crappy. Oh well.


Sinful Colors - Pull Over - This is a medium yellow creme. Good application and good coverage in three coats.

OPI - Navy Shatter - This along with the Pink are probably my favorites from the Shatter collection

Mia Secret - Dark Green Crackle - This is a total disappointment. Its thin and watery and no where near the dark green color it looks in the bottle. I've had the Mia Secret Black and White crackles and they were great. But this one is a huge disappointment.

11-2-11 - Pink Wednesday

Its Wednesday and on Wednesdays we wear pink, so I'll get right to it


Essie - Your Hut or Mine - This is a dark carnation pink shimmer. Good coverage and application, good to go in two coats

Phantom Fright - Moon and Stars glitter. This is a really old polish I got years ago. I just picked the stars out of the bottle and placed on my nails.

China Glaze - Fairy Dust - I think we all know how awesome this polish is :)

11-1-11 - Today's Mani

For the first day of November I have an icy mani.

Color Club - Cold Metal - This is a sapphire blue metallic polish. Great coverage and application. Its good to go in one coat

OPI - Silver Shatter - What can I say about this one, a silver metallic crackle. I got good crackle effect on this one.
