China Glaze Tempest and China Glaze Techno

Well this one didn't turn out a well as I hoped, I'm actually very disappointed with it.

China Glaze - Tempest - This is a blue/purple kind of duochrome. I wasn't able to get a very good pic of the duo effect. While the color is intriguing the formula is not very good. Its extremely thin and running, it was dripping all over off the brush. Its very sheer and required three coats.

China Glaze - Techno - This is a glitter with small silver pieces and large holo hex pieces. Its very pretty but delivery of the glitter onto the nails is not very good.

Mardi Gras Nails

Thought I'd do something a little festive for today.

Since this is a water marble, I'll just give the names of the polishes since I can't really get a feel for the coverage and application this way.

Kleancolor - Metallic Yellow - A gold metallic

Kleancolor - Metallic Purple - A purple metallic

China Glaze - Jolly Holly - a dark green shimmer

Layla Metallic Sky

I stopped by Ulta today and found that they now carry the Layla magnetic polish. So I picked up the blue.

Layla - Metallic Sky - I really really like the color of this one. But I don't really care for the magnetic that came with it. Next time I use it I think I'll try the magnetic that came with one of my other brands.

Zoya Snow White and Wet N Wild Black Creme

So for today I have a little stamping.

Zoya - Snow White - This is a really nice white creme, good coverage and application, good to go in two coats.

Wet N Wild - Black Creme - I know I've said this a million times, this is my absolute favorite black. Its a one coat polish with great shine even without a top coat.

Nfu Oh 60 and Zoya Nephratiti

I was really excited about doing this mani, but once I was finished I realized its almost identical to one a I did a couple of weeks ago with Nephratiti, Zoya Raven and Zoya Chloe. But anyway here's this one.

Nfu Oh - 60 - This is a sheer black base with red flakies. This has nice coverage and good delivery of the flakies onto the nail.

Zoya - Nephratiti - This is a red shimmer with red micro glitter. I love this red, great coverage and application

2-5-12 - Illamasqua Veridian and OPI Black Satin

For today I have a brand I've never used before. Although its mani didn't turn out very well, I've been kind of under the weather this weekend and barely managed to get this one

Illamasqua - Veridian - This is a blacked green micro glitter that ends up a very pretty emerald color after two coats. This is a nice polish, good polish and application.

OPI Black Satin - This is a pretty dark gunmetal shimmer, but its very thing and watering.

Topped with Out The Door.

Claire's Pink Magnetic

Pink Wednesday!!!!!

For today I have Claire's Pink Magnetic polish. I used the vertical squiggly for this one. I really like this polish, its a bit glittery where the magnetic has gone giving a little extra sparkle.
