Happy Memorial Day to all in the U.S. as we remember those who gave their life in service to our country. To those outside the U.S., Happy Monday.
So today I have a trio of Zoya PixieDust Polishes. All three of these polishes are pretty sheer, but they have good application and good coverage with a couple of coats.
I've also realized that I seem to be especially attracted to this color combination, I seem to use it quite a bit.
Solange - This is a yellow/gold matte glitter
Beatrix - This is a light orange matte glitter
Destiny - This is a darker reddish orange matte glitter

Layla Flash Black
Well the weekend was so busy that I had naked nails all Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday, and didn't get them polished until late Sunday night. But whoa was it worth the wait, cuz holo, holo, holo. We all know how much I love linear holos, and this one is picture heavy this one turned out so nice.
I really like the Layla holos, they have some of the best holo effect and to that, that its black and oh yea. So here they all are.

OPI Vesper
This one is just a complete disaster. Even though I did a lot of clean up on this one, I still ended up with a halo on the cuticles.
OPI - Vesper - This is from the Bond Girls liquid sand collection. I did three coats here, and its way too many. This is actually a purple liquid sand with black glitter, which at three coats you can't see the black glitter, but although with two coats you can see the purple color and black glitter, its still way too sheer, so not sure how to handle the problem with this one, it might actually be nice layered over white.

Zoya Rekha - This is an older Zoya polish. A dark red creme. It has very good coverage and application. A very nice red indeed.

Orly Sparkling Garbage
Once again its seems like real life has intruded on all of the fun, and I'm once again way behind on manis. Unfortunately not all of them turned out as well as I had hoped and I cut up my fingers working on files at work but, here we go.
Orly - Sparking Garbage - This is from Orly's Mash Up Collection. This is very sheer jelly like green base with scattered holo glitter. It took four gloopy coats to get to this point. I was really excited about this polish in the bottle but it was more difficult to apply then I thought, but it does have super awesome sparkle.

Essie Shake Your $$ Maker and OPI Alpine Snow Matte
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
For today we have:
Essie - Shake Your $$ Maker - This is a dark green neon matte from the new 2013 Summer Neon Collection. This is a sheer one and need three coats. After that its just perfect.
OPI - Alpine Snow Matte - This is an old old color. Nice coverage and application. Its takes two coats to be just right.
Then I used a medium sized dotting tool for the dots. I messed a couple of dots up, but it was late when I did this and I didn't feel like starting over.
No topcoat used

OPI Jinx, OPI Need Sunglasses?, OPI Off With Her Red
So today we had a Cinco De Mayo party at work. I'm the event committee and we wore this funny little "bopper" headbands, so of course I had to my nails to match my "bopper" Also, I wanted to try out one of my new OPI Bond Girl Liquid Sand polishes I go the other day. So here it is.
OPI - Need Sunglasses? - This is an older awesome OPI color. A bright sunshine yellow. This is a bit sheer and requires 2-3 coats.
OPI - Off With Her Red - This is an older dark red from the Alice in Wonderland collection a few years ago. For a dark red its kind of sheer and needs at least 2 coats
OPI - Jinx - This is a new Liquid Sand, from the Bond Girls collection that just came out. Its a bright orange with dark orange and gold glitter. This one doesn't seem to have as much texture as some of the other Liquid Sand polishes. Its actually pretty smooth.
Seche Vite used on Need Sunglasses? and Off With Her Red. No topcoat on Jinx

New Nail Magazine
I stopped by Sally's last night to pick up a couple of things, and they showed me this new nail magazine called Nail It. Its really a cool magazine showing different designs and talking about polishes, I ended up subscribing. I didn't even know there were nail magazines.
butter LONDON Shag and Orly Buried Alive
I did this one really fast and really really late the other night so it didn't turn out that great.
butter LONDON - Shag - This is a copper shimmer. Great application and coverage. butter LONDON are really nice polishes.
Orly - Buried Alice - This is a brown shimmer with gold super fine micro glitter. Its more sheer than I expected but still a nice polish from last year's Dark Shadows collection
