Essie - Come Here

Hope everyone who celebrates is having a good Easter, for those who don't celebrate, hope you're having a good Sunday. :)


My last few mani have turned out really bad. This one is a little rough around the edges but I'm still putting it up.


Essie - Come Here - This is from the 2013 Resort Collection. This is a bright neony coral. It looks a little more red in the picture than it actually is. I usually don't have any problems with Essie, but this one was a bit hard on the application. It was bit running and dripping off the end of the brush. Kind of streaky on the first coat, but it settled down after three coats.

China Glaze - Lightning Bolt - Yes, I'm one of the few still digging the crackle polishes.

Milani Purple Streak and Nubar Barricade

Nubar - Barricade - This is a concrete gray creme. Nubar is one of my favorite brands, I just wish it was more readily available. Anyway good coverage and application.

Milani - Purple Streak - Milani has jumped on the textured bandwagon. This is one is a little bit different than the Zoya PixieDust and the OPI Liquid Sand. It has a very pronounced matte textured but it does not have glitter. It does have small granules that make it look like the side of a house. I really like this one. Milani is offering six colors in their textured collection.

China Glaze Galatic Gray

Here is another holo from the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This one is Galactic Gray. The color of this one, has me a bit confused. Although it has gray in the name and China Glaze describes it as "warm gunmetal", I see alot of a brownish tint this polish. Whatever color it is, I love it. Good application and coverage. I've included indoor, outdoor and blurred pics to show off the holo.

Nails, Inc. Noho - Leather Effect and OPI Pink Friday

Hope everyone is having a good week. For today I have

Nails, Inc. - Noho - This is a black matte textured polish which Nails, Inc. calls Leather Effect as it is designed to look and feel and like leather. I really like the texture of this, its different than then the others I've seen. The application and coverage are really good. The only problem is that since its a matte and no top coat, its didn't last very long, by the end of the day the tips were worn away. But still I like this one, and its a keeper.

OPI - Pink Friday - This is a medium pink creme from the Nikki Minaj collection. Its a little streaky on the first coat, but after 2-3 its great. The flashed washed the pink out a bit, its really a little darker in real life.

China Glaze - Strap On Your Moonboots

Here is another from the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This is Strap On Your Moonboots. A navy blue holo. I had a bit of trouble getting a good pics, so I've done some inside, some outside, and one a little blurry to see the holo a little better. The application and coverage on this one is good. Its a two coat polish.

China Glaze When Stars Collide

Holo? Did someone say holo? I just picked up all 12 of the new China Glaze Hologlam collection. If you liked the OMG collection you're going to love the Hologlam collection. The colors are awesome, especially When Stars Collide. This is a very unique color. Its kind of a dark dusky amethysty purple. It goes on very smooth and the holo effect is awesome. I'm so happy they came out with this collection, I love holos.

OPI Hands Off My Kielbasa and A Woman's Prague-ative

Today I have a couple from OPI Euro Centrale Collection. Also I've been experimenting and practicing a bit with my nail art striping polishes, so we have a bit of that in there to.


Hands Off My Kielbasa - This is a nice peach shimmer. Good coverage and application, opaque in two coats.

A Woman's Prague-ative - This is a coppery shimmery foilish polish. Again good coverage and application, its a bit sheer and needs two coats.

I still haven't figured out how to get my pics to come out, they're always dark and kind of yellowish but if I use the flash they're bright white, so I need to get back into camera shopping mode.

Zoya Chyna

Happy Sunday everyone. Today I have one from the Zoya Pixie Dust collection


Chyna - This one is a little different than the other Pixie Dust shades, where they others are a base color with silver glitter, Chyna has a slight sheer black base and is packed with red glitter. I really love this one and it is my favorite of this collection. Here I've alternated it with Out The Door for a little different effect.

OPI What Wizardry Is This? OPI My Vampire is Buff OPI Goldeneye

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Its been chilly and rainy around here the last few days so its a stay in day today. So let's get to the mani.


OPI - My Vampire is Buff - This is from the new Euro Centrale collection. This is an off white creme with a very very slight pink tint. Its a little streaky on the first coat, but had great coverage on the second coat. I don't usually go in the for lighter colors, but this one I really like.

OPI - Goldeneye - This is a gold metallic foil from the James Bond Collection. Its a bit sheer and requires 2-3 coats.

OPI - What Wizardry Is This?- This is the new liquid sand shade from the OZ collection. Its a bronze matte base with gold/pink/blue micro liquid sand glitter. I really like this one for being such a unique color.

OPI When Monkeys Fly and OPI Quarter of a Cent-Cherry

Hope everyone is having a good week. Its almost over, yeaaa. Today I have a new one from the OPI OZ collection

Quarter of a Cent-Cherry - This is an older polish that I just discovered it but I love it. This is a dark blood red creme. It has good application and coverage. I went went three coats though just to get the extra darkness


When Monkeys Fly! - This is a new one from the OZ collection. This is large square gold glitter and small holo glitter in a think clear base. I really like this polish, and despite all of the controversy, I really like how the gold glitter curls. I think it makes it much more reflective. The only problem I have it is the delivery of glitter onto the nail. The base is very think and it takes some patting and even in some places direct placement to get good application of the glitter. But overall I really like it, and it really reflects the light on the gold glitter.

Zoya Nyx and Zoya Kristen

For today I have one of Zoya's Pixie Dust matte glitter polishes.

Nyx - From the Pixie Dust collection - This is a slate blue matte base with silver glitter. Good application and coverage. While similar to OPI Liquid Sand its different enough that I wouldn't compare them.

Kristen - This is a light grayish blue creme. This is a very nice color. A bit sheer but opaque in two-three coats.
