OPI Stay The Night

Okay, hope everyone is have a good weekend. Here is the first of the four new liquid sand polishes from OPI.

Stay The Night - This is a sheer black base with red glitter. I did this really quick late last night, but it has really good application and coverage. It dried quickly and the texture is pretty cool. I put it on top of Wet N Wild Black Creme. I used Seche Vite on top of the Black Creme. No top coat on top of Stay The Night.

OPI Mariah Carey Collection

I stopped by Ulta today and picked up six of the OPI Mariah Carey polishes. I didn't care for the other two colors, which is why I didn't get all of them. Also it seems that Ulta has raised its prices for OPI polishes from 8.50 to 9.00, at least for this collection.

I'm very excited to try out the liquid sand polishes and should have something to show you if not later tonight then definitely tomorrow morning.

The ones I got are

Stay The Night - This is a liquid sand color (liquid sand are matte glitter polishes)- its a sheer black base with small red glitter

Can't Let Go - This is a liquid sand color - its a sheer purple base with lighter medium hex purple glitter and small dark purple glitter

Get Your Number - This is a liquid sand color - its a sheer light blue base with small holo glitter

The Impossible - This is a liquid sand color - its a sheer red base with medium hex red glitter and red star glitter.

A Butterfly Moment - This is a champagny peachy/pinky/beige shimmer

Sprung - This is a shimmery copper foil polish.

This is today's haul. As soon as I get a mani going with them, haven't decided where to start yet, I'll get it posted.

Orly Matte Vinyl and Zoya Trixie

Orly - Matte Vinyl - This is a matte black polish.

Zoya - Trixie - This is a silver metallic polish.

No top coat used.

China Glaze - Hey Sailor and Orly - Mermaid Tale

China Glaze Hey Sailor - This is a bright tomato red.

Orly Mermaid Tale - This is a green glitter that flashes blue

Green & Red Christmas Nails

Just a week before Christmas and today I have green and red nails for you.

OPI - Color So Hot It Berns - This is a wonderful bright red polish. Nice Application and Coverage

On top of that we have Nabi green crackle polish. This is a cheap crackle that they had last year at Walgreens. It has pretty good cracking effect.

OPI - Jade is the New Black - This is a nice Christmasy green. This is one of my favorite green polishes. Good application and coverage

On top that we have OPI Red Shatter polish. Mine is getting a little thick but it still has pretty good cracking effect.

Topped with Oh So Wet! This is a different quick dry top coat I found at Sally's that I've decided to try. Drying time was good and it has a really good shine to it.

Ulta - Ruby Slipper

Here is another holiday mani already. I have so many new polishes that I'm trying to get through as best as I can.

Ulta - Ruby Slipper - This is a dark red shimmer polish. The depth of this polish is awesome, although you can't tell it by the mani I have here. But I will do another with this polish by itself at some point. This is a wonderful jewel toned polish with good coverage and application.


China Glaze - Fairy Dust - Does anything really need to be said about this one, we all know how awesome this polish is.

Stamping done with Bundle Monster plate BM311 and Konad white stamping polish.

OPI - DS Indulgence

Happy Hump Day everyone. Here is another holiday mani


OPI - DS Indulgence - This is a light red shimmer with gold micro glitter shimmer. Like all of the DS polishes the gold effect in this polish is awesome. Its hard to tell from the pic but at times it looked like fire. I really like this polish.

Ulta - Envy Snow Nails

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Its that time again, time for Holiday so get ready for lots of red and green :) For today we have green

Ulta - Envy - This is a dark emerald green. Although its hard to see on this mani, this polish has awesome depth to it. I love this polish.

The little snow flake decals are from Creme holiday stickers.

The dots are Wet n Wild White Creme using the smallest size dotting tool

Essie Sssssexy

So Essie has now jumped on the magnetic bandwagon with their new Repstyle collection.

The magnet on this one was kind of picky at first, I had to hold it a certain direction for each hand and then it worked okay.

Its better than some and not as good as others, but I really like the color, its not as pink and a little more red than most of the other brands.

BornPrettyStore Flocking Powder

I've been seeing this around for a while now and I finally ordered some in black from the BornPrettyStore.

This is a really interesting concept in texture and I was really looking forward to getting it. Unfortunately I found it disappointing.

Its very messy and a pain to apply. It didn't last long for me, by the end of the day most of it was gone, and the fingers that accidentally got wet, the flocking turned hard and yucky.

Estee Lauder Smashed

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I have one today from a brand I've never used before.

Estee Lauder- Smashed - This is a grapey purple shimmer with purple & blue ultra micro glitter. I really like the color of this one. Application was good but not any better than other polishes. Coverage was okay, it seemed a little thin at the base. Again not any better than other polishes. Nothing about this polish really makes it worth its $20 price tag.
