9-30-11 - Today's and Yesterday's manis

So tomorrow is October 1st, the month of Halloween and Halloween is my favorite holiday. so starting tomorrow, all of my mani's through the end of October will have some type of Halloween. I'm excited this is going to be fun, and we will be seeing a lot of orange and black and all kind of scary stuff :)

And now to the business at hand, today mani.

OPI - Happy Holi-Grays. This is a medium gray creme from a holiday mini set I found at Penney's Salon the other day. This is a great color with great application and coverage.

OPI - Pink Shatter - This is OPI's 2011 Pink of Hearts breast cancer awareness color. At first I wasn't interested in it because I'd heard a lot of people complaining that it was too light and sheer and it only worked on light colors. Then I saw it yesterday at the store. This is an awesome polish, its a bright medium/dark pink shimmer. There is nothing light or sheer about this polish and its crackle effect is excellent. I love this polish.



Yesterday's Mani

This is a polish I've had for a long time but haven't used until now.

China Glaze - Emerald Fitzgerald - This is a dark green shimmer with a hint of teal. Great Color, great coverage and application.

9-28-11 - Pink Wednesday

Its Wednesday and I have a new pink mani. I also have a couple from the past week I haven't had a chance to post.

I'm pretty disappointed with both of these polishes

Wet N Wild - Metallica - This is a silver metallic. Although its a great color, its very streaky and bubbly and did not apply very well

OPI - Teenage Dream - Pink Glitter - The application on this one was okay, but the glitter is so pale, you can hardly seee it.

I went matte for this one

Zoya - Dovima - this is a black shimmer matte. Great application and coverage.

OPI - Lincoln Park in the Dark - Suede - Super great coverage on this one and the application is very smooth and I love the color.

Essie - Fair Game - This is a slate blue shimmer, I really like this color, its much prettier in real life than in the pic. I then added a stripe of China Glaze Platinum Pieces silver crackle.

9-21-11 - Pink Wednesday, Among Other Things

Its Wednesday and I have some pink for you. I also have a couple of manis for the last few days that I haven't had a chance to get up.


Pink Wednesday

OPI - Koala Bear - Y - This is a very bright dark pink. Good coverage and application. I like this one. Sorry its a bit messy

Wet N Wild - Black Creme - I have talked about this one before, my favorite black polish.

Butter London - Henley Regatta - This is a blue/green glitter. I really like this one, it goes on well and comes off a lot easier than most glitter polishes

China Glaze - Crimson - This is from CG's 2011 Halloween collection Haunting. It is a very dark purple with hints of red which is extremely similar to the old Chanel Vamp and Revlon Vixen. It has good coverage and application.

9-12-2011 - Today's Mani

Today I have another water marbling mani.

OPI - French Quarter for Your Thoughts - This is a taupish gray creme

Zoya - Shawn - This is a medium olive green creme.

OPI - You Don't Know Jacques - This is a taupe creme polish

Zoya - Envy - This is a very dark camo green creme.

Its really hard to get a feeling for coverage and application with a marbling mani, so I can't really say how well these perform in regular usage.

9-11-11 - Today's Mani

Again, I actually did this last night but didn't get a good pic until to today. Anyway, we have

Nubar - Wildlife - This is a green/rosy gold/bronzish duochrome. It has a great duo effect which of course doesn't show up very well in the pics. But it looks awesome in real life.,

China Glaze- Cracked Medallion - This is a bronze metallic crackle polish. Like all of the polishes from the CG Metal Crackle collection, this one has a great crackle effect.

9-10-11 - Today's Mani

So here is today's mani. Actually its yesterday's mani but I couldn't get a good pic of it until day. But anyway here it is.


China Glaze - Fairy Dust - This is a silver glitter polish with a clear base. Once of my favorites. Unfortunately the sparkles don't show up very well in the pic.


China Glaze - Platinum Pieces - This is a silver metallic crackle polish. This gives a very good crackle effect
