China Glaze Mahogany Magic and Essie Go Overboard

Yeah its the weekend. For today's mani I have


China Glaze - Mahogany Magic - This is a milk chocolate brown creme from the Hunger Games Capitol Colours collections.l I really like the color of this polish. Its a little runny but a good polish.

China Glaze - Go Overboard - This is a marine blue creme. Excellent color, I love this one. Good application and coverage.

Zoya Sweet and Zoya Sparkle Gloss Topcoat - Pink Wednesday

For Pink Wednesday I have as really pink mani

Zoya - Sweet - This is a bubble gum pink creme. The formula is a bit disappointing, it was streaky and difficult to apply but after three coats it settled down.

Zoya - Sparkle Gloss topcoat - This is a nice clear polish with multi colored sparkles.

China Glaze Gothic Lolita and China Glaze Stone Cold

So for today we have a couple of China Glaze polishes

China Glaze - Gothic Lolita - This is a medium red based purple with micro glitter. This had nice application and coverage. This polish is from the Electropop collection

China Glazse - Stone Cold - This is a gunmetal metal matte polish with silver & a touch of purplish micro glitter. I was a bit disappointed in the wear on this one, it did not last long at all. But since I didn't use a top coat for this one, its probably expected.

China Glaze Agro and China Glaze Fast Track

When I first saw the Hunger Games collection, I thought there were a couple I liked and now a couple of weeks later, I have them all, go figure. So here are a couple for that collection

Agro - This is an olive green shimmer with a bit of gold flair. This is a really nice polish

Fast Track - This is a beige polish full of gold micro glitter - I thought it would be really sheer but it gives full coverage in two coats and its so glittery gold I'm loving it and I don't usually go in the neutrals. Unfortunately the pic doesn't even come close to showing off this polish.

OPI Vampsterdam

Yeah for Fridays. I have a simple one color mani for today

OPI - Vampsterdam - This is a plumey shimmer from the Holland Collection. This is a nice polish with good application and coverage but the color is kind of ordinary not really anything special. But overall a nice polish.

China Glaze Dress Me Up and China Glaze Luxe and Lush - Pink Wednesday

Wow its Wednesday and I actually have pink nails, woo hoo

China Glaze - Dress Me Up - This is a dusky pink polish from the new Hunger Games Capitol Colours Collection. This is a one coat polish, very nice

China Glaze - Lush and Luxe - This is also from the Hunge4r Games Capitol Colours collection. This is an iridescent/gold flaky polish. Delivery of the flakies wasn't that great, it required patting them into place, but I like the flaky effect.

St. Patrick's Nails

It took me most of the day but I finally got a minute to sit down and do my St. Patrick's mani

Essie - Pretty Edgy - This is an awesome grass green creme. Good coverage and application

Wet N. Wild - White Creme - This is a really nice white. Opaque in two coats with really good coverage and application

Nubar Reclaim

A week of green manis would not be complete without the ultimate green

Nubar Reclaim - This is a green holo - yeah what can I even say about this polish, I'm just going to sit here in awe of it :)

Sinful Colors Exotic Green and Sinful Colors Olympia

For today's green mani I have

Sinful Colors - Exotic Green - a grassy green creme

Sinful Colors - Olympia - A light green creme

I really like the color of both of these, but the formula was a bit thin and runny it kept dripping off the brush. And suprisingly they were both kind of sheer requiring about 3 coats each, which I didn't do, I only did 2 coats each.

OPI Jade Is The New Black and OPI Gold Shatter

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, I've decided that all my manis this week are going to have green in them in some manner. Starting today :)

OPI - Jade Is The New Black - This is a grassy green creme. Good coverage and application. A really really nice green.

OPI - Gold Shatter - I haven't used this in awhile and its getting really thick. But I was still able to get a decent shatter effect.

China Glaze Harvest Moon and Wet N Wild Black Creme

So this one I went a little more ornate than I usually do, but what the heck I was in a mood.

Wet N Wild - Black Creme - I've talked about this polish several times, its a great black.

China Glaze - Harvest Moon - This is a copper metallic polish from the new Hunger Games Capitol Colors collection. I really like the color and texture of this polish. Good application and coverage.

For the copper glitter I used some random brand called Bonita that I found at Ross. It has no name or number. Its various sizes of hex glitter. I like color alot, but the delivery of glitter onto the nails is very poor, I did this one by hand, one at a time.

China Glaze Instant Chemistry

Hope everyone had a good Monday. For today I have

China Glaze - Instant Chemistry - This is a dark grapey purple magnetic polish. I used a vertical design magnet for this one. I really like the color on this one.

I've now tried four different brands of magnetic polish, and I have to say I think they all pretty much work the same.

China Glaze Smoke and Ashes

For today I have a polish I really really like.

China Glaze - Smoke & Ashes - This is from the new Hunger Games Capitol Colours collection. This is a black with multi colored micro glitter. In the sun its hard to see the color of the glitter but they are actually different colors just not silver. Very good coverage and application with this one. Its a one coat polish with really great glitter delivery. I used two coats here, just cuz.

Nails, Inc. Whitehall & Zoya Parveen

I have a couple of manis that I haven't had a chance to get posted.

First Up

Nails, Inc. - Whitehall - This is a teal green magnetic polish. I used a star magnet for this one.



Next up

Zoya - Parveen - I don't normally go in for neutrals, but this is a really pretty beige sparkle polish.
