11-26-10 - New Goodies

I got a couple of new colors.

Last night I went to Walmart and picked up Pure Ice - Super Star. I have a couple polishes from this brand, one I really like and one I really dislike, so I thought I'd give it one more shot with this one, a dark red micro glitter.


And today, I was at Sally's and saw that Finger Paints has a holiday collection and picked up Holly Good Time. This is a really pretty gold and red glitter. I'm not usually too much into gold or red for that matter but this one really caught my eye. Seeing it made me feel all Christmasy.

11-24-10 - Today's Mani

Okay so for tonight's mani we have

OPI - Black Onyx - My first time using this. Its a good black very opaque and shiny. I like it

Orly - Charged Up - this is one of my favorite purples, although as usual my stupid camera shows it much more blue than it really is. Its a very true purple.

Mia Secret - Black Crackle - I can't get enough of the crackle effect.

All topped off with Out the Door topcoat

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the U.S. My family and I will be stuffing ourselves silly :)

OPI - Extra - Va -Vaganza - I love this polish, its a unique mixture of colors I haven't had before. A perfect autumny color

I took a little trip to Ulta today, I had a rewards coupon that was good for a salon polish, so I got OPI - Extra-Va-Vaganza from the Burlesque collection. Yeah I love free nail polish. Funny thing, while I was standing in line, I realized that it matched perfectly with the polishes I have one.

I have a sparkly little mani today

China Glaze - Little Drummer Boy - this is a very pretty navy blue shimmer. I really like this color. It was little watery going on, but overall a good polish.

Nubar - Star Sparkle - mmmhhhh sparkly

11/15/2010 - New Goodies

I got a few new things today

LA Splash - Nail Art Glitter in Onyx. I found this at Walgreens this morning. I haven't heard of it or seen it before. The clerk said they just got it in the other day. Basically you polish your nails and then stick your finger in the container while the polish is still wet. I'm just psyched I finally found some black glitter.

China Glaze - from the Holiday Collection - Little Drummer Boy, a dark blue shimmer

China Glaze - from the Holiday Collection - Phat Santa, a blood red polish.


I'm looking forward trying to all of these new goodies.

11/14/10 - Today's Mani

Well I'm off in a few minutes to the Fountain Hills Art Festival but I wanted to get my new mani up.

OPI - Manicurist of Seville - As I said before I usually don't go for the berry colors but this I really like, and I think its much nicer on than in the bottle.

OPI - Tease-Y Does It -  I really really like this one, its not a purple as it looks in the bottle and happily when its on, it looks nothing like my Nubar Iced Licorice.
