11-28-11 - OPI Grape...Set...Match

Its hard getting back to work after having four days off, so I just had to do a new mani.

OPI - Grape...Set...Match - This is a grapey polish with blue and purple micro glitter. The application and coverage on this one were very nice.l

I then topped it with OPI Blue Shatter - I'm not sure if I didn't wait long enough for the polish to dry or if I applied it too thick but I didn't get as good as a crackle effect on this one as I get with the colors from the Shatter collection. The color one this one is a great electric blue.

11-27-11 - Nubar Avant-Garde

The long weekend is coming to an end and I've been busy doing nail stuff. :)

I went with Nubar for this one, because at the risk of repeating myself, yeah I know I am, I love Nubar polish its my favorite of all of my polishes. Anyway to get to down to it,

Nubar - Avant-Garde - This is a burgundy shimmer matte polish. This is has really great coverage and application, although for this particular mani I used a top coat.

Nubar - 2010 - This is flaky topcoat. I love how this looks over the Avant-Garde giving a very autumny look.

All topped with Seche Vite

11-25-11 - Zoya Cheryl

Hope everyone who celebrates had a good Thanksgiving. I have a bit of an autumny mani for today

Zoya - Cheryl - This a dark bronze shimmer with micro glitter. Very nice application and great coverage in two coats.

For the stamping I used

China Glaze - Iron Cross 360 - This is a burnt orange shimmer
OPI - Bling Dynasty - This is a dark gold shimmer
Nubar - Gold Feather - This is a goldish/bronzish shimmer

11-23-11 - Color Club Foil Me Once

So it Wednesday and that means Pink.

Color Club - Foil Me Once - This is a pink metallic. Very pretty with good application and coverage.

Stripes done with Kiss Nail Paint in silver glitter

11-20-11 - Orly Rock It

I have a simple, nothing fancy mani for today.

Orly - Rock It - This is a ruby red polish from the Mineral FX Collection. The application was very nice and smooth. Good coverage. I used three coats here. The color of this polish is a very pretty deep red. The sparkle and shimmer is awesome which the pics don't do justice.

11-17-11 - Nubar Vaso & Hyacinth Sparkles

Its getting late and I'm getting tried so I'll get right to it.

Nubar - Vaso - this is a lavender shimmer with unique textured finish. Its not quite shiny and not quite matte. Very pretty from their Venetian Glass collection

Nubar - Hyacinth Sparkles - This is a lavender glitter polish. Very good application and coverage. I added it to the tips here for a little subtle sparkle

I know I've said it before, but I love Nubar its my favorite brand. I just wish it was more easily available.

11-16-11 - OPI Mermaid's Tears and Skull & Glossbones

Since the last time I posted I did a couple of total fail manis, so I'm glad to have a fairly decent for today. I'm still working on perfecting my stamping, but its coming along.

So today I was feeling a bit piraty and went with a couple of colors from OPI's POTC collection.

Skull & Glossbones - This is a light taupe creme. Nice coverage and application. It is a two coat polish.

Mermaid's Tear - This is a seafoam creme. I really love this color, its one of my favorites.
